Simply exquisite interior design today from John Jacob Interior designer!
"John Jacob Zwiegelaar set up John Jacob Interiors in 2005. He has since made his name as the creator of unmistakable, highly bespoke, glamorous work underpinned by attention to detail, a feel for individual clients’ requirements and client satisfaction."
Granted in 1685 to Willem Adriaan van der Stel, Vergelegen Estate has had a few visionary owners who have shaped this historic property into the world-class estate that it is today.
Given the momentous task updating and modernizing the guesthouse, which has hosted many famous names including Nelson Mandela, Bill and Hillary Clinton and Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, was South African designer John Jacob. As it is a period home steeped in history it was important to him that the home maintained its historic appeal but included a fresh contemporary twist.
